Dr. Lienngailhing Khongsai is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from University of Hyderabad, specializing in Health Psychology with a focus on chronic illness management and role of healthcare systems. Her research interests include caregivers’ wellbeing, women’s health, community psychology, social psychology, and counselling psychology. She is particularly interested in exploring the complex determinants of health behavior and evidence-based research to improve an individual’s quality of life and wellbeing. Her work reflects an interdisciplinary perspective that integrates mental health, social context, and healthcare practices. She primarily employs mixed-method research in her studies. She previously served as an Assistant Professor at Woxsen University, Hyderabad. Through her academic and research contributions, she remains committed to advancing psychologically informed and evidence-based approaches to health and community wellbeing.
