Ms. Nivedita Anand is currently pursuing an MSc in Research and Innovation in Higher Education from Tampere University, Finland, and Danube University, Austria, demonstrating her strong commitment to academic growth and advancement. In addition, she holds a Master of Business Administration from LM Thapar School of Management, India.
Her research and teaching interests primarily revolve around innovation and change within higher education, with a specific focus on pedagogical innovation and leveraging design thinking for creative problem-solving. Her passion for pedagogical innovation has led her to develop a practice-based course centered around Organizational Behaviour called Organizing, Managing and Leading in Practice (OML-in-P).
Drawing from her five years of experience in student engagement and team management, she currently serves as the Strategic Initiatives lead at LM Thapar School of Management and School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. In this role, she effectively oversees special projects and consistently enhances the student’s learning experience. Her responsibilities involve leading teams, collaborating with diverse departments, and optimizing the overall student experience.
Her entrepreneurial spirit and innovative problem solving have earned her prestigious recognition, notably the Global Scaling Award from the Anderson School of Management at the University of New Mexico.
With her impressive educational background, extensive experience, and unwavering dedication to fostering innovation in higher education, she is well-positioned to create a meaningful and influential impact in the field of higher education.
