During an illustrious career of close to four decades in many organisations, including the UN, the Indian Air Force, MoD HQs, MoES HQs and the SERB, DST, Dr. Rajeev has served at apex levels, and been a driving force in game-changing initiatives that transformed the country’s scientific/technical profile and capabilities. His remarkable contributions have been awarded by the IAF, UN, and the Hon’ble PM of India. The Hon'ble President has recently appointed him as the visitor’s nominee for selection of professors at IIT Kharagpur in its four departments.
He is an Inter-Governmental Expert Member for the Technical Commissions of the WMO at UN and a member of the prestigious India International Centre. He wears another interesting hat of a Council Member for recommending the Best Corporate Brands in the country at BRISYL. He has also been the Chairman, Board of Studies for Meteorological Department of Bharthiar University, Coimbatore. He has regular presence as a keynote speaker at the international forums and national broadcasting platforms. He is doctorate in Meteorology and possess four masters in ‘Mathematics’, ‘Meteorology’, ‘Defence & Strategic Studies’ and ‘Business Administration’. He has mentored more than a thousand current generation professionals in various fields, including the Indian Civil Services Officers at ‘Samkalp’ as Chairman of the Interview Guidance Boards. He is a blogger, a published poet, a dedicated Marathoner, and participates in Professional Cycling Expeditions.
