Dr. Anupam Garg is an Assistant Professor at the Thapar School of Libral Arts and Sciences. She brings over 17 years of teaching experience from various universities and institutes. Her research interests are focused on medical imaging, signal processing, and machine learning, particularly in the areas of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Brain-Computer Interaction (BCI). She has experience in aligning human emotions with song moods to create personalized playlists for stress management. Additionally, she has collaborated with her team on silent speech technology to assist individuals with speech disabilities. She has mentored numerous masters and undergraduate students. She has completed numerous certified courses and Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) in Computer Science from prestigious universities. Additionally, she has published patents, contributed papers to esteemed journals, and presented at numerous conferences. As a hardworking, energetic, and student-centered educator, she has also been involved with the Training and Placement cell at Thapar Institute and is part of various student societies. She is committed to supporting students in achieving success in both their professional and personal lives.
