Dr. Manoj Baranwal is Professor in Department of Biotechnology, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala. He completed his Master’s in Life sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi and earned his PhD from University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany. He has published more than 60 research publication and received five research grants from different Govt agencies of India. As part of an Indo-Russia collaboration, he has also visited Kazan Federal University, Kazan, Russia. His current research focuses on designing immunogenic peptides, which show potential as candidates for vaccine development and the diagnosis of viral infections.
