TSLAS Hosted "T/Unscripted" Open Discussion Forum on Atheism and Theism

Thapar School for Liberal Arts and Sciences hosted T/Unscripted, an Open Discussion Forum designed for conversations that outgrow the classroom. This edition of the forum centred on ideas around Atheism and Theism, inviting participants to explore perspectives, entertain bold takes, and engage in dialogue that tipped, at times, into existential overthinking.

 

The forum took place on 1st December 2025. The event centred around open, unfiltered dialogue on questions of belief and disbelief a space where participants were encouraged to challenge assumptions and hear out perspectives they might not otherwise have engaged with. It was conducted in a way that invited bold opinions and genuine curiosity, with conversations moving fluidly between the philosophical and the personal.

 

This edition of T/Unscripted made room for a subject rarely broached inside a classroom, one that sat at the crossroads of meaning, faith, and reason. Rather than following a fixed structure, the forum let the conversation chart its own course, shaped entirely by the perspective’s participants brought into the room.
