As part of The Zoë Project @TSLAS project, Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (TSLAS) hosted a reading-together session on Friday, May 1 at 4:30 p.m. Participants came together for a group discussion about literature and a variety of voices.
The session focused on a short story from Gangrene, a collection of Punjabi Dalit short stories published by Penguin. The initiative, titled ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝ (Shabdaan Di Saanjh), aimed to create a shared space for meaningful engagement through literature and conversations.
The selected story was shared with participants through audio, print, and digital formats in both English and Punjabi, followed by an open discussion. The session highlighted voices and experiences that often remain unheard while encouraging collective reading and dialogue.
